Ashley Cook has spent 16 years in the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) industry, working with both small and large PEOs — many of which have grown through acquisition. Over the years, Ashley has developed deep industry knowledge of what each PEO specializes in and takes a thorough, no-stone-unturned approach when helping businesses identify the right solutions.
Ashley's passion for this work stems from growing up in a family of entrepreneurs. Her parents owned a janitorial commercial cleaning company in Orange County, where she witnessed firsthand the many ups and downs of running a business. Those experiences shaped her understanding of the complexities business owners face today — especially around compliance, building a strong company culture, and attracting and retaining top talent.
Ashley began her career as an SDR, cold calling and setting meetings for the sales team. She quickly advanced into a sales representative role and then into leadership, where she managed an office and ultimately oversaw an entire region of five offices and 48 sales representatives across Texas. Over eight years in leadership, Ashley has managed and developed hundreds of sales professionals, helping build top-performing teams — including a number one office in the nation.
This combined experience — leading high-performing PEO sales teams while understanding the realities of business ownership — gives Ashley a unique and well-rounded perspective. She has successfully supported companies ranging from as few as 3 employees to organizations with over 5,000 employees.
Her primary industry focus includes hospitality and restaurants, light manufacturing, property management, and white-collar sectors. She also brings 10 years of expertise in high-risk workers' compensation within California's challenging insurance market, including a strong understanding of the WCIRB and its business impact.
Today, Ashley represents more than 40 PEOs nationwide, allowing her to focus solely on identifying the best fit for each client — rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution. She has also carefully selected a network of elite PEO representatives to ensure her clients are aligned with partners who truly meet their needs.

Meet Ashley
Ashley Cook founded Strategic PEO Partners after 16 years inside the PEO industry — starting as an SDR and rising to lead a region of five offices and 48 sales reps across Texas. Growing up watching her parents run their own business in Orange County gave her a firsthand understanding of the challenges business owners face. Having sat on both sides — inside PEOs and alongside business owners — she built this firm to give businesses the independent, expert guidance they deserve.
