Discovery Call & Needs Analysis
Step 01The process begins with a discovery call and a full needs and must-have analysis for the business.
This allows for a clear understanding of the company's value proposition, goals, and priorities. From there, the top 5–10 PEO options are pre-determined based on industry, company size, and overall objectives.
Proposal Document Collection
Step 02All necessary documentation is collected to support a full analysis of medical benefits, workers' compensation, 401(k), payroll, and PEO pricing.
Each document is thoroughly reviewed, scrubbed, and prepared to ensure accuracy and proper positioning before being submitted to multiple PEOs.
PEO Negotiations — Transparency & Flexibility
Step 03As pricing proposals are received, Strategic PEO Partners filters through all options and conducts a full side-by-side pricing analysis.
This is where complexity meets simplicity — bringing clarity to both pricing and structure. Strategic PEO Partners negotiates directly with the PEOs to ensure the business receives the best possible solution.

All PEO pricing starts with the core components: workers' compensation, administrative fees, taxes (FICA), FUTA, and SUTA. A clear side-by-side analysis is provided so there is full transparency into the pricing structure — whether the PEO is bundling these costs into a percentage of payroll or unbundling them into a per-check fee structure.

PEO contracts are executed between the PEO and the client.
Implementation & Ongoing Support

Involvement continues throughout implementation, including attending meetings to ensure everything is set up correctly and runs smoothly. Ongoing support remains in place for the life of the relationship, ensuring the PEO continues to align with the business as it grows.
Renewal Meetings
